1. Summary
We collect the information needed to schedule and perform your detailing appointment and to stay in touch with you about it. We do not sell it, we do not use advertising trackers on our website, and we share it only with the service providers that help us run the business. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information at any time.
2. Who we are and what this covers
Lis's Luxury Car Detailing is a trade name of Lis's Company LLC, based in Seattle, Washington (“we,” “us,” “our”). We are responsible for the personal information described here.
This policy covers our website, our online booking and quote forms, and information we receive when you contact us by phone, text, email or WhatsApp or when we perform a service. Our services are offered in the United States, in the Seattle area of Washington State, and our systems are located in the United States.
3. Information we collect

Information collected automatically
- Technical data. Like most websites, our server receives your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use this to deliver the site, protect it against abuse (for example, limiting how many requests one address can make) and fix errors.
- Address suggestions. When you type in the service address field, the characters you type are sent through our server to Google to suggest matching addresses. Choosing a suggestion retrieves the full address from Google.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, precise location from your device, or health information.
4. How we use information
- To schedule, confirm, perform and follow up on your appointment or quote.
- To communicate with you about your booking: confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, questions about the vehicle or location, and receipts.
- To find and travel to the service location.
- To keep customer and service records, process payments, keep accounting and tax records, and honor our satisfaction guarantee.
- To record the vehicle’s condition and handle questions or claims about the service.
- To show our work in our gallery and on social media, using vehicle photos without your name, address or other personal details and with license plates removed or blurred. You can opt out at any time (see Terms of Service, “Photos of your vehicle”).
- To secure our website and systems and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To improve our services, and to comply with legal obligations.
- To send promotional messages, only where you have agreed to receive them; you can stop at any time.
5. We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, and we do not use it for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
8. How long we keep information
- Customer, appointment and payment records are kept while you are a customer and for at least five years after your last service, as Washington law requires for business and tax records, and then deleted or anonymized.
- Quote requests that do not become a booking are kept for up to 24 months.
- Condition photos are kept for up to 12 months after the service, or longer if needed for an open claim. Photos chosen for our gallery stay published until removed.
- Server and security logs are kept for a short period, generally no longer than 90 days, unless needed to investigate an incident.
We may keep information longer when the law requires it or to resolve a dispute.
9. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the whole website, an administration area restricted to authorized staff with individually hashed passwords, access limited to the people who need it to serve you, and service providers that protect data under their own security programs. Photos uploaded to our system are stripped of embedded location data.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as card numbers, by text or email.
10. If a data breach happens
If a security breach exposes personal information in a way that requires notice, we will notify affected individuals without unreasonable delay, and within the time limits of Washington’s data breach notification law (RCW 19.255.010), which is no more than 30 days after the breach is discovered. When the law requires it, including when more than 500 Washington residents are affected, we will also notify the Washington State Attorney General.
11. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Delete your information, except records we must keep by law (such as tax records) or need for an open claim, which we will keep only for that purpose;
- Stop marketing messages, and stop the use of your vehicle photos in our marketing.
To make a request, email lisscardetailing@gmail.com or call or text 425-550-5980. We will verify your request by matching it to the contact details we have for you, and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with your written permission. We will not charge you or treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Residents of states with consumer privacy laws, such as California, Oregon, Colorado or Texas, may have additional rights under those laws. We honor the rights described above for everyone, and will respond to requests under those laws where they apply to us. If we deny a request, we will explain why and how you can appeal by replying to our decision.
12. Texts and marketing
- Service messages about your appointment are sent to the phone number and email you give us when you book or request a quote.
- We send promotional texts or emails only with your consent. Consent is never a condition of booking.
- Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of texts, or HELP for help. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- We do not sell or share your phone number or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
13. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and bookings must be made by someone 18 or older. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Consumer health data
We do not collect, use or share “consumer health data” as defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373). Please do not include health information in booking notes or messages. If you do, we will use it only to provide the service you asked for.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we will post a notice on our website before the change takes effect.
